Happy Birthday Papa!

It's our dearest papa's birthday today!! And to celebrate his big day, we decided to spend the weekend at Genting Highlands.

But truth be known, we just don't want him to feel sad as this is his first time celebrating his birthday after mama's passing. It's weird, you know. Celebrating your birthday knowing that your mum is not around like she used to. And I guess the feeling's the same with losing your significant half. It's hard, and it's sad. Hard for everyone, and I bet it's the same with papa. they've been together in marriage for 32 years when mama passed away. Imagine losing someone you love and who've shared more than thirty years of ups and downs together.

Yeap, it's hard. But it's everyone's focus to not make it harder for him, so off we went....

And now I'm down with the flu!!

After 6 days of walking under the insanely hot Phuket weather, I am now officially back home.... and down with the flu!! Arghhhh!!

Woke up feeling extra lethargic and having sore throat. (and not to mention noticing some pimples sprucing up on the face). and I am now friggin' tanner than before!!..WTF WTF WTF!!

Apart from those complaints, Phuket was fab! Went there to celebrate the Thai New Year, or Songkran as they call it. The most fun part was splashing/shooting/aiming the water with a water gun to mark the new year.. Will post the full detail of the excursion, and my overall honest opinion of the trip.

Sheesh. I need my rest. this throat of mine is killing me!!! Muackss!!

P/s : I am honestly rethinking on the travelling around the world bit with my hubby. You'll know what I mean when I post the full entry of the Songkran trip soon. ;)
