It's 4.00pm at the office on a Wednesday. Another 2 more days and we're into the year 2011.

Aircond is at full blast, and can't do nothing about it since it's centralised. So here I am freezing my tits off, feeling sleepy and drowsy at the same time. If only I can snuggle on my bed right now. Such a bliss to have that kind of luxury!!

Christmas's Coming

My oh my. I have been looking forward to this coming weekend.

Bukannya apa, I'm organising a pot luck x'mas brunch with siblings, cousins and also my close friends. Should be nice I hope. Other activities scheduled for that day (apart from eating ourselves silly!) is a dance off session on Just Dance. Cool kan?? Boleh la gelak ketawa riang ria for a change. It is the end of the year anyways.

Ok, that's the only update I have for now. Now let's move on shall we...

Last weekend, setelah menjadi extra rajin, I have decided to do some spring cleaning for my shoes. Shoes are a second love for me after handbags, heheh...

So after taking pictures of the shoes, and printing it and glueing it on the shoe box, the result of my new 'shoe section' dalam stor, is like this...

As you can see, there's more than enough room for more shoes, hehehehe... (bestnye!!)

Oh yeah, last Friday, after having a look at an advertisement in the newspaper, I went to Corus Hotel for the Clark's warehouse sale. Was so excited coz Clark's shoes are very comfy, but also expensive. Was hoping to get one on sale.

But the moment I arrive there, the only sizes available for most shoes that I want was 8 or 9 UK size. And it's HUGE!!!! Gila besar kaki siapakah yang muat for that shoe?? Even a US size 8 for me pun I dah consider macam kaki sampan, apatah lagi UK size 8, memang kaki titanic, LOL!!!

In the end, I only managed to get a shoe for Cha Cha!!! Itu aje yang ada yang best and menarik.

Oh yeah, made some masa lode for tea on Sunday. MIL and Aunty-in-law (ada ke ayat nie??) said that it was shedappp....

That reminds me, I need to bake butter cake for hubby's grandma. MIL had asked for me to bake one. So have to go buy the ingredients later..

AH is on Sale..... AGAIN!! (and I'm Broke!)

Up until now, I think most people close to me would've known about my addiction and love towards anything Anya Hindmarch. My first AH bag was a gift from hubby dearest during our trip to London sometime in August 2009.

I fell head over hells in love with AH thereafter!

This is the AH Perry bag that hubby bought for me, but mine's in navy color! tantek, kan? (Sorry couldn't find the exact pic of the bag on the net, so this one will do. kaler je lain, rupe nye adalah sama, hehehe).

After coming back from our Europe trip, I almost always visit AH's website to check out their beautiful handbags. Mana tau, there are one that I terpikat, kan? Then sis-in-law announced on FB that she's coming back for the holidays!

Apa lagi, pesan lah another AH for meself. This time, I was in love with the Marano clutch. Wanted the one in silver, but it was sold out, so I opted for the champagne color.

Cantik kan?? Love this to bits!!

And as I thought that I was happy owning two AH bags, tetiba AH M'sia pulak hantar postcard telling me it's on sale!! Wahh wahhh!!! ini tidak patut dilepaskan! So off I went to AH at Parkson One Utama, and fell in love with the Jethro bag!! Siap mintak calculator from the salesperson, just to make sure that the price after discount is worth buying over here kat KL. Memang berbaloi-baloi ok!!

And, dengan rasa tak bersalah, I swiped my credit card. 5 minutes later, I was the proud owner of this beautiful Jethro bag!

Satisfied with my purchase (and a few thousand ringgits poorer!), I vowed never to buy anymore AH bags until next year. Ye la kan, lain la I nie bini businessman/usahawan berjaya where hubby kesayangan akan kasi I monthly allowance beribu-ribu (oh tidak mungkin!!), boleh la I belanja macam mak datin.

And I was content with my AH bags, until.....

One fine day when I went to KLCC to window shop after work. 'Ter'lalu lah I depan AH store, and 'ter'masuk-lah I secara 'ter'sengaja (banyaknye 'ter' engkau!!).

Ooh-la-la!! So pweety the bags! With the intention of just wanting to window shop and cuci mata, I tetiba 'ter'minat at this one clutch. Lawanyeeee.... And the saleperson was not much of help either, siap cakap this one very nice la, ramai orang suka la, tinggal one piece la (eh pandai engkau buat sales kan??). So I pun 'ter'makan dengan her words. Tapi sebelum 'ter'kena her bait, I asked for her calculator to convert the amount in pound sterling, wrote down the price and told her to KIV the clutch for me. She said she'll hold it for 3 days, and I was fine with that. Cukup la masa untuk I memikior dengan mendalam whether to get it or not (and also to check on the price in UK. Usually it's wayyy cheaper if I were to buy it in London).

On the way back home from office the same day, suddenly I got a phone call from AH KLCC, telling me if I am still interested with the clutch, coz ada minah lawa nie (OK i am exxagerating, maybe makcik aje kot) wants to buy the clutch. Without even thinking, I dengan sepantas kilat menjadi defensive (apakah?) and told the salesperson that I want it! I want it, and please hold for me until Monday. Gila tak?? memang gile punya perempuan.

So Monday came, and I pun dengan senyum kambing drove to KLCC and bought the heavenly clutch.... The name's Valorie (cute nama2 bag AH, hehehe).

Lawa kan? Ini kalau pakai masa wedding/function sah orang ingat aku mak datin, hehehehe...
Dah-dah le tue kan. Apa cite nak keje beli bag AH memanjang. As it is, two AH bags is a bit too much for someone like me. Like I said, I am not rich, and money don't grow on trees (chewah ayat mak2 and bapak2 masa zaman2 mintak duit belanja lebih).
Lagipun dah Disember. Tahan je la kan nafsu buaya tue, tunggu next year. lagi berapa hari aje pun.Lepaih tue bole la shopping balik.
Tetapi....
Last night when I got back from work, I got another flyer/postcard from AH. Dia cakap:

OMG!!! Mengapakah? Kenapakah? Patut tak AH buat I macam nie? Sungguh tak patut kannn..
Anyway, seteleh membelek-belek the postcard kurang dari lima minit, I straight away called the boutique in One Utama, nak tanya price after discount for AH's Gracie bag!(kau memang nafsu buaya Hanis!!)
OH my my!! Sungguh murah for a barang yang mahal, but still mahal (geddit?). I so want a Gracie Bag....

Cantiknye LC!!

You know that feeling of excitement that you have when you receive something new? Just a look at even the box/wrapper/plastic bag/container would make your heart leap in a string of sommersaults.

Doesn't matter if the item was self purchased, but better still if it's a gift from someone. Don't you just agree with me?

Well, that was what happened to me yesterday, when receiving this long awaited item from my sis-in-law. Have been eyeing this 'cantik' for quite sometime, but couldn't get to bring myself to buy it since it'll cost me nearly RM2,000.00 to own one!

But as I was deeply being drawn into a state of self pity ('oh kenapakah gaji kau tue tak banyak? kalau dak, boleh je beli mende tue'), and sorrow ('sedih laaa....sedih... gigit jari aje la kali nie nampaknye'), suddenly a beacon of light came shining over me, and this is all thanks to internet shopping!

Crazy kan? Who would've thought, after busy looking for that Wii game 'Just Dance' that I so wanted on e-bay (as can be seen on my previous post), pedoman suddenly hit me to key in 'cantik's name...and voila!!!

So with the help of facebook, I quickly send a message to my sis-in-law for her help to obtain 'cantik', by hook or by crook!!

This is 'cantik's box, and 'cantik' is in it. Ooh-la-la!!

Kalau dulu I hanya mampu gigit jari sebab tak mampu beli 'cantik', but now.... Ha!!! I dah mampu gigit 'cantik' for real! (ganasnya Hanis!!)

Yang Dinanti-nantikan......

After all the hectic work I did at the office on a Monday (hate mondays!!), after braving the not-so-bad traffic from Jalan Ampang to Jalan Tun Ismail, after being annoyed waiting what seems to be like an eternity for hubby to come home, and after eating like more than 5 almond chocolates (yang ini patut dipersalahkan diri sendiri sebab tak kuat iman!!).....

Babysitting Arissa @ Arichacha...

OK, I haven't actually written any post in this blog of mine in full malay (bahasa melayu) version, so I guess now's the time. Here goes....

Sessi 'duduk bayi' (babysit) Hanis Arissa.

Satu hari tu kan, tetiba telefonku berdering. Rupa-rupanya ia adalah panggilan dari adikku, Nana. Apalagi, angkat le tepon tue...

me: Hallo!

Nana: kak shi!! hari sabtu malam awak buat apa huh?

me: emmm...jap (sambil tanya suami kesayangan apa pelan pada hari Sabtu malam). emm... kenapa ekk??

Nana: kitaorg ada wedding malam tue. Family Z. So takde org nak tolong babysit chacha. can you babysit her that nite??

me: oh boleh!! (tapi rasa nak pengsan sebab tak pernah babysit dia sorang2)

So hari yang dinantikan pun tiba. Chacha sampai still tido, so ok lagi. But I awal2 dah cakap kat maknye, mandikan dia before pegi wedding dinner (teruk tak makcik sorang ni?), sebab sah2 I tak reti. Jangan harap la si hubby nak nolong kalaupun I kene mandikan chacha.

Dalam tengah menyembang dengan my sis, dalam hati dok berdoa banyak2 kat Tuhan mintak tolong chacha terbangun (keji tak?). Lepas setengah jam macam tue, tengok2 chacha bangun.hatiku melonjak gembira. 'ha apalagi maknye, mandikan lah chacha', kataku di dalam hati.

Habis mandi, I took charge. Ambik chacha, bancuh seketul farley's rusks, and suapkan dia makan. Si chacha mula2 terkebil tgk hubby, pastu bila hubby tegur, terus nangis... Sudah!!! Camne ni? I pun marah hubby, 'U nie, kalau tegur baby tak bole garang2, kene lembut2, macam nie,' kata I sambil kasik example suara paling cute and comel untuk hubby imitate.

Hubby ikut buat suara comel tu (tapi turns out bunyi macam pondan la pulak). Sah2 chacha takmo. Last2 I la kene dukung dia (chacha, bukan hubby), and suap her dinner at the same time. Mintak tolong hubby bukakkan chacha punya bekas air...'B, tolong open that thing for me'. Hubby dengan muka macho try bukak. Dekat 2 minit macam tue, dia cakap 'ish ish...susah la nak bukak bekas nie, ketat sangat! Ini bukan setakat baby proof nie, human proof terus!". Aiyooo..... last2 I jugak kene bukakkan sendirik. Turns out bekas air chacha tue kene pusing macam bukak penutup botol sos tomato. Patutla si hubby tak boleh nak bukak, dia dok tarik2 pulak the cover. Aku dalam hati...'Hai.... kene babysit dua baby last2 nie' (dengan muka cemas)...
After finish feeding her dinner, I suruh hubby bonding session with Chacha, while I pegi panaskan susu dia. Kejap2 kene jenguk, manalah tau kan, kot2 si Chacha keriau (nangis dalam bahasa utara). So far so good, so I pun lepak kejap kat dapur sambil tunggu susu Chacha suam2 kuku.

After feeding her milk, aku tengok kat jam. Ingat nak tido kan dia, tapi masyaallah, baru pukul 7.45 pm??!!. Apa keje tido awal sangat, kan Chacha kan? So I kasi la Cha cha main with hubby. At this time, her mood was okay and she likes playing with hubby (thank god!!). Ended dia nak duduk memerap with hubby. Ok lah kan..

So for an hour or so, Chacha kerabat (panjat dalam bahasa Utara) hubby, baring tepi hubby, tarik specs hubby, tegur hubby, ajak hubby tgk painting (I think she loves fine art).

And me??? I keje tangkap gambar diorang aje!!! Hahahaha....

Dah lelame tue, I tengok ada indication that Chacha is sleepy. Hidung dah merah, dah start garu2 belakang telinga, eyebags bawah mata (apakah??)... So I pun dodoikan dia.... about setengah jam dukung sambil nyanyi lagu tah apa2 tah, Chacha pun tido. Yeay!!

Best jugak jaga Chacha nie. At least ada la jugak lemak kat lengan I bertukar menjadi muscle masa dodoikan dia, hehehehe.....

of Shoes!!!.... and Swimming.

It's a public holiday today (awal muharram), and I dragged hubby to Ampang Park to buy myself a pair of shoes. Turned out buying three pairs instead! *sigh*!! I am so addicted to shoes it's not even funny ok! Here are the lovelies that I bought. Found them enticingly displayed at this shop called 'Neve Shoes', located at the ground floor of Ampang Park itself.

Really comfy! I even asked the salesgirl where do all these lovelies come from. And to my surprise, she replied, 'made in Malaysia ma....'. OMG! I am so effin' proud! Not only do they look really really nice, it's super duper comfy too!! Even the material used to make them is of good quality! Promised the salesgirl that I'll introduce the shop to my sis, and she smiled and said that I should bring all of my friends along as well the next time I come visit! LOL!

Oh yeah, went swimming last Sunday with the family (at my place of course!) It was helluva fun!! Chacha and Hannah enjoyed it so much!

Of Crabs & Chocolate Cake!!

OMG!!

I am feeling awfully dizzy after my yummylicious dinner session with hubby, Nik & Cecilia at Fatty Crab Taman Megah. Mind you, it's not that the food was lame (it was awesome, as usual!!), but I think the extra dose of crabs and prawns had skyrocketed (ada ke ayat nie??) my cholesterol level instantaneously!!

On another note, after attending hubby's company's Women's Day (why they celebrate it in December, I have absolutely no idea. Thought Women's Day was sometime in May or something, hehehe), I suddenly had the urge of baking!

So I made chocolate cake! Yumzz! The recipe was my late mum's, so you can tell how I'm very emotional about it! The preparation took about 30-45 minutes, whilst the baking took about an hour! Maybe coz I put extra chocolate chips in the batter.....

After putting the icing on top of the cake, off we went to taman megah for dinner.... at Fatty Crab! Food was marvellous and soOoooO..... delish!!! Don't believe me? See for yourself then..

A good example how looks can be deceiving! Looked just like any ordinary chicken wings yang budak2 baru nak belajar masak buat, but tastewise, sedap gile!!

After downing the chicken wings, fried rice, crabs and garlic prawns (with one glass of soya drink, and two glasses of sugar cane juice).....

I am now dizzy!! Makan terlebih agaknya...

But overall it was a really good meal.
