Boredom strikes yet again!!! Was flipping through channels last night when I stopped squeezing the remote button at the sight of an interesting episode of some 'in search for food' series on AFC (that's the 'Asian Food Channel' on Astro for those not in the know).
It was quite an amusing episode, where they showcased different seafood restaurants in Singapore serving the yummy and ever delicious chilli crabs. (They even had a 5 minute segment teaching us to identify different crabs you can find in the market, and also which type of crab should be cooked fried, steam,etc in order to attain a juicier crab meat).
I was glued til the end. When the credits started rolling, I realised that being home alone is not that 'happening' after all! Thankfully mum and dad's back from Jakarta tomorrow. Been talking to dad's fishes and also to Wiggy and Puma (my cats) for more than five days now!
Have also been bingeing on Indonesian food lately..

Preparation for my Jakarta trip? Who knows. Might also be that I am addicted to Indo food (especially ayam penyet.. Sedap sial!)
Hmmm... maybe I should visit Nasi Padang Kampung Baru this weekend. But thinking of baking and trying out new recipes. This time it's more cake baking than cookie baking. Thinking of baking banana bread. Yummy!
