Here I am. At the office (It's Monday, by the way....Arrrghh!!). Doing the usual stuffs; ie checking on my emails, tying loose ends, making phone calls. Still feeling sleepy from the fun outing I had with my sweetie yesterday(yeap, we finally went somewhere outside of KL!!). We went to Genting. That was not the first time for me, but definitely was for my better half. (Wwhatt??....you might ask. Oh, come on! he's from KK, Sabah. Give him some credit for not visiting Genting for the 29 years he's been around...).
On Saturday, after having dinner with his scholar friends, Amy and Kim Hui (very nice and outgoing people indeed) at this place called Flamenco's in damansara heights (the escargot was no that bad, actually. First time for me and my bf. Never imagined i'd eat a snail, hehe!) we went for a drive around KL town. After discussing on the itinerary for Sunday's excursion to genting, both agreed that starting the journey really early in the morning would make the day PERFECT! (By the way, ladies and gents, really early for both of us, would be 9 a.m. onwards)
So Sunday morning came...
And i woke up at 915 a.m.! Yikes! Called my sweetie... After a few rings, he mumbled, with his just woken-up voice, "Yes dear, i'm awake, i'm awake.....". Quickly showered, dressed-up, and started my car. That was 1010 am by the time i started moving from my house in Bukit Jelutong. And what luck!! the NKVE is not accessible as the exit from Shah Alam was badly flooded! Excusez-moi? Flooded? When did THAT happen? There was not a single raindrop last nite....(Or maybe there was, except i was too tired to notice...). So made my way to Glenmarie. Flooded also?!! Geez.... Then decided to use the Federal Highway as a last resort. But lucky me again...There was no way to get there, as the road from Shah Alam to the highway was flooded too! Now what? Hmmm.... Called my sweetie. Answered in a lively voice than the first time i called. "Yes dear. You're on your way already??". You wish!!
After up-dating him on the situation, and telling him i'm still trying to figure out how to get the heck out of Shah Alam, i hung up the phone and made my way to the GCE. Meaning, i had to make my way to Rawang, then make a BIG turn into KL via NKVE from there. That's the most brilliant route i could think of.
After RM5.50 toll later, I finally arrived to Bukit Tunku. Darling was being ok with the delay. Shoot off from there to genting at 1115 a.m. Arrived at the Genting Cable car station in Awana 30 minutes later. Took the cable car to the peak, and arrived there at 12ish. (So much for the bright and early start!!).
Anyways, the weather was simply amazing!! Was a bit cold, so we both had our jackets on. Paid RM36 per person for the outdoor theme park ticket. Went on those really fun thrill rides. All the time we were behaving like kids again. And he was being so romantic, cuddling and what not ever so often. Suddenly realised how important my sweetie is to me.
Finished all the rides (including the ones for the kiddies!) around 4pm. Went for the motion master at 530pm. Got back to the cable station at awana around 6ish. Arrived in bangsar just in time for dinner, at 720pm.
Oh yeah, we went to this Vietnamese restaurant in bangsar village, called Du Viet (at first i thot it was Duvet! huh?? Kedai mattress ke nie?). Really nice food. First vietnamese food i have ever tried, and i think it was the first for my sweetie too... Then went to the sunday night pasar malam at jalan telawi (just opposite bangsar village) for an after-dinner walk.
Sent my sweetie back around 9ish. Arrived home at 10pm, showered and slept right after....
Such a tiring day, but very enjoyable indeed!
Now i'm at the office again. Damn!! Really and honestly hate mondays! Wish it way yesterday again.......
Now what is my sweetie up to???
